played my first game of Runewars yesterday and liked it a lot, although I could verify most of the rule questions through errata and rulebook one still consists

1) my opponent moved her hero with strategize in spring to a quest area

2) in quest phase she beat the quest and received a timmoran shard as a reward (she already had one shard)

3) after that she played "Teleportation" (gain flying and fast) and instantly moved her hero back to a stronghold to gain 2 dragon runes

questions

1) can a hero carry more than 1 timmoran shard? (I guess so)

2) was the movement thru the tactics card after finishing the quest legal or not? My guess is that moving and questing are 2 separate actions and can be done in any order, so if you are already on the destined quest area you can move out of it?!

Yes, a hero can possess ("carry") an unlimited number of reward cards.

Teleportation can only be played when moving units or heroes. Once a hero embarks on a quest (i.e., draws Fate cards to determine a quest's outcome), he forfeits any movement he has remaining and his Quest phase ends. A hero only has 3 possible actions: to heal, to train, or to move. If you choose movement, you may end it with a quest or a duel. You cannot move afterwards. (Rulebook page 26, first bulleted section entitled, "Move.")

I agree with the above. To give more detail in #1, you can possess any number of Timmoran Shards. What's more, when you do eventually get that Hero back to a Stronghold, you can TURN IN any number of Shards at once; it's not a once-per-turn thing. I've not personally seen more than two at a time, but if you happened to have all 5 in one hero (lucky!), you can turn them all in and (most likely) win the game.

on a sidenote:

in our chaotic first game we forgot to shuffle the reward deck so all 5 shards were on top of it

weirdly enough it didn't matter much because each of us had to travel nearly to the other's homerealm to finish our respective quests

and on top of it we duelled each other on every occasion my gf generally played very aggressive (she always does when playing against me )

and 3 heroes died during the match *g so we just came to pick up 2 reward cards from the deck after all
