R2 or FAA on Snap is great fun too but FAA Blue Ace pips him I think.
Most fun ship revealed.
I've played against Blue Ace with FAA at a tourney not too long ago, FAA definitely makes him more fun. I think that guy took Primed Thrusters instead but he was also clawing for points with a four ship list.
A while back I tried R3-A2 and Primed Thrusters on Blue Ace, that was a fun and fairly effective build

Poe/Fenn fits. Might not be able to get absolutely everything you want on all 3 (1 point over for full 43 Poe, VI/FAA/HSCP on Fenn, and Blue Ace with FAA/AdvO/AT), but you can get most of it.

Blue Ace seems like an interesting alternative to Jess Pava in a list with like Lowhhrick and some sort of 3rd ship (Norra? Skinny Miranda?). Jess is dice mods. Blue Ace is mobility. That's an interesting trade-off.
Have fun with this on a custom tournament game
“Blue Ace” (30)
T-70 X-Wing (27), Targeting Astromech (2), Primed Thrusters (1), Integrated Astromech (0)
K-turn or Talon roll, lock and boost ! Very fun !

@theBitterFig , I know it's not the true Regen Poe at 43 pts but you can get "almost" everything on all three with a 1 point bid and two ships at PS11 with the below list:
Fenn Rau: VI, HSCP, FAA = 26 pts
Poe (PS9): VI, BB8, AO, Autothrusters, Black One = 41 pts
"Blue Ace": FAA, AO, Autothrusters
TOTAL POINTS = 99
Might work since you can strip multiple target locks with Poe (given how popular Harpoons are) and give Blue Ace an extra dice modifier with autothrusters... thoughts? Of you can give IA to Blue Ace and put R2D2 on Poe?

He is so good ... 5 options for boost placement ... and even if that's no good, FAA gives you the barrel roll in advance of the boost. After any move, with barrel/boost he can end up in about 20 different spots.
He is the most fun ship to fly, he blocks higher PS ships, hunts down and kills lower PS ships like gunboats and wookiees. Thanks FFG for breathing life into an old dog with some new tricks.
I have just one (noob) question; why Advanced Optics? Wouldn't Primed Thrusters be a better way to guarantee the shenanigans?

Yea, but all the movement shennigans in the world don't count for much when you're rolling unmodified or barely modified attack and defense dice. Optics is there to give a little action economy and to help with offense/defense, which X-Wings tend to struggle with (barring Poe, who's ability means he's got a mini-modifier on all his offense and defense rolls).
Hmm. I will have to try this guy out with my personal title holder, Attack Shuttle Sabine with PTL and Chewie.

It’s a choice to make. I prefer AO for the action economy. I was more often than not firing double modded shots into people due to AO. I guess if your meta is stress heavy, thrusters might be a better choice.
Sounds like a fun use for the "Force Awakens Astromech"!
I love ships that can do dumb amounts of manoeuvers: A wing was the first part of this game I ever brought, just for Tycho!
