I've been looking at some different scheme's for escalation play. I'll be doing an escalation tournament here in about a week and a half, and I've never done one, so I wanted to ask some people over here some of my thoughts before I put stress into testing lists.
1. Thoughts about adding a new "ace" every round vs doing a large ship with some "filler" ships and empty space in the meantime.
2. how many ships do people usually have over the 60/90/120/150. a ship added every turn gives 5 ships (2 on first round)
3. strategies that you have that are different from the standard 100 point game.
4. When do you sacrifice by creating a short build to allow room for a more than 30 point ship on the following if you're trying to add it after the first round.
5. Anything else I have not listed (if you want to post your lists that have been successful in the past, I'd love to see ideas more for general understanding to form my own)
