Was thinking about putting Expertise on Dash instead of LW, Burnout Slam and my 1pt bid...

Expertise also counters Sensor Jammer which is popular on Kanan on the UK.

If going Expertise Dash, perhaps replace Rey? Defensive focus are nice, but without Lone Wolf, they aren't quite as valuable. Meanwhile, you won't need offensive focus in most games, so Rey seems of relatively lower value.

Bistan doesn't seem worthwhile due to the donut hole. Cassian Andor could be nifty, get some sweet dodges. Jan Ors seems interesting--and Poe can Focus-To-Evade while he has an Advanced Optics Focus, too. Intel Agent would get back your bid or the Burnout SLAM. Chopper gets back both, and provides some resilience to stress control.

I think Jan Ors is my favorite there.

I'll second Jan Ors.

Though if the OP is worried about Fenn Rau, that Advanced Optics isn't going to do very much good for Poe, and he'll have to take a focus action each turn anyways most likely (assuming HotShot Fenn is the main problem here).

I love Expertise/Rey combo and have long maintained that it's better than Lone Wolf. Having that defensive focus all the time frees you up for a lot of barrel rolling and target locking which is huge.

Sidestepping Fenn and Sensor Jammer nicely is a good meta call at the moment.

How about changing Countermeasures for Burnout Slam?

Gives a 2 point bid and Poe can shed target locks instead

Ok I’ve played a lot of this style of list. Jan Ors on Expertise Dash is great. You can take focus action and give your self that evade token. Expertise is nice, but I’d be a bit worried about Assaj shutting that down. Then having only Dash’s few greens to shed stress will be a problem.

Dash/Poe can be great, but at 100 points you’re going to run into initiative problems vs PS 11 alphas.

Personally my motto with Poe is BB8 or GTFO, so I think that simple change gets you at least on par with most PS 11 alpha lists.

Countermeasures is too important to Dash I think. At the end of the day, Rey for Defensive focus might make sense, especially those rounds you want to target lock or barrel roll.

So a lot of words just to say drop R2-D2 down to BB8 to get a 2 point bid.

Assaj shouldn't be too much of a problem for Expertise since Dash is moving after her and can just barrel roll to R3 if need be. At first glance i thought Rey was overkill but with the amount that Dash is re positioning when you get into combat or TL'ing even, how often are you going to want to spend your action on an Evade.

I get not having a bid for Poe does suck in a few situations, but ill take being able to potentially run through 6 shields on Poe over BB8'ing. That's just down to play style though. Some like 1 better than the other and lean towards R2-D2.

I don't remember the probability website for xwing, but it might be helpful to run the numbers of Expertise against Lone Wolf and the different variations.

This worked really well against Fenn in general and also against the Sensor Jammer on the Ghost
Won that game and then won against 3 Nus + Quickdraw
Keeping Poe near to shed Target Locks was a refreshing feeling :-P

Feeling like this is a pretty good meta call right now with Fenn all over the place
