So how bad are the Destiny folders?

Anyway brave enough to buy one of these? Are they as trashy as they look?

I bought 4. They are pretty sturdy not flimsy at all, magnets are on the top cover to help close them. The dice area is well plastic it fits the dice nicely however it is what it is plastic if you are careful I expect they’ll last a good long time if not they’ll crack. The area where the cards go comes with a openeded box with the same artwork as the cover to put your cards, this box is not and ultra pro super box it’s made of the same paperboard the starter sets are made of so your mileage will very depending on how rough you are with it. Now I’m only using them to store my dice since I use a Case It zip binder and pocket pages for my cards so I have no intention for using them for cards. I also have a separate small plastic divider box I use for the tokens. I love them for dice the artwork is great and I like the way they separate and how the dice looks in them, I used to keep my dice in those plastic photo boxes and never liked the look or that they moved around in them but this is just personal preference. I don’t intend to stuff them in a backpack and take them back and forth to my FLGS so again mileage may vary. In the end for the $15 each they are perfect for me. Cool Stuff is already out of stock on the Darth Vader binders with low stock on the other two so apparently I’m not the only brave one.

They definitely fill a niche. Thanks for the review.

I got the Vader one last week and I was more impressed with it than I thought I would be. They put enough room in each dice slot to easily get them out. The starter set tray are a pain to use as you need to pop the dice out from underneath. With the binders dice are easy to get. The magnets to help keep it closed are also nice. I made a video of me reviewing my binder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56GCKKZr9Ow
