That thing is uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly.
Seems to be a 1 agility, 8-10 hull/shields, arc locked shuttle. This time it carries cargo instead of people... So this is the 5th one?

Not the 5th one. The Sith one.

Hey it may grow on you. ?
Even as diverse a range of critics from Farmboys to retired Jedi Generals thought the Falcon was a piece of junk.

TIE Reaper before this one or I get stabby.

It does look a bit like a flying AT-AT. I don’t think it looks bad, though. At least it’s more original than...pretty much any Disney designed ship except (IMO) the U-Wing.

Is it true? Have they finally run out of McQuarrie Concept Art!?
Oh, happy day!
given the exposed walkways, i'm guessing this is an airspeeder type vehicle rather than a spaceship. probably the Empire's equivalent of a S-64 Skycrane.

I don't get that mad at them for the Ralph McQuarrie stuff. Cool art is cool art, why not use it? I still like McQuarrie's Coruscant (see Omicron Group Pilot) better than the prequels' version of Coruscant.
Also, the people who designed the T-70 X-Wing said they never saw the McQuarrie concept art, and it was just a weird coincidence that it ended up looking similar. Not sure I buy that, but still...
I'm guessing that ship isn't space worthy and used to load/unload that strange train. Solo seems to have procured one. We'll finally see if he actually CAN pilot a ship. (I've always suspected Chewbacca was the better pilot.)
Edited by Force MajeureOh! Did you want to know what it was? Looks like MM figured it out.

Edit: Post 2,000!
Edited by Celestial LizardsLooks like a customs ship. Two arms lock around a freighter perhaps.

I'll tell you why. My problem with it, is that it's being used out of place. It made total sense in Rebels, because thematically, as concept art, it could act as narrative concept work for what we know. So that both come together to form the narrative of, "here's what came before."
But using it so much in sequels bugs me a ton.
Isn't this a prequel?

No, it's an anthology!
It's "prequel-adjacent"

The U-Wing is a phenomenal design, they really knocked it out of the park. There have been some other good entries though. TIE Striker? Ghost/Phantom? First Order Dreadnought? MC-75/Profundity? Protectorate Starfighter? Gauntlet fighter? Maybe even the Resistance bomber? Just some interesting designs that I thought have been well executed by post-Disney Lucasfilm.
Totally agree on the T-70, TIE/FO (/SF is an interesting modification), Resurgent-class SD, etc.

Focus all Firepower @Force Majeure. I don’t want anything to get through.

Obviously I was making a jab at the Sequel Trilogy, but Extrapolation is a dead art.
Anyway.
Yeah I gotta say, I don't like it. It looks like a half finished ship, and I don't mean that because of the walkway looking bits, I mean that because of how it just... Ends, in places it ought not to.

Through a deep understanding of the Will of The Force, Extrapolation can return as a Force Ghost.

It's good ugly, though! Fits in rather nicely.

its probably meant to be. most cargo vehicles IRL tend to be fairly utilitarian and lacking in aesthetic appeal. as long as they do the job well.
