I keep saying this, but this is such sublime casting.

In my nine year old mind watching The Empire Strikes Back, there are few things in the Galaxy as cool as Han Solo.

Lando Calrissian is effortlessly one of those things.

I just wish they'd have like, y'know.

Got the right guy for Han.

The actor playing young Chewbacca is CRUSHING the look. Great casting choice. Nearly identical look.

Young Chewbacca?
He's like 200 years old or something. He shouldn't have "aged" much.

Daammn it. I am straight but I want to wear that costume (modified).

So gender bent it, the term isn't exclusively for making male costumes female!

It was made tongue in cheek. ?

Akin to Master Yoda to Luke in The Last Jedi.

Comes with freaky-looking book accessory?

At this point I think we as a body we have studied and discussed every possible nuance of the Falcon’s nose more than any socialite actress/runway ingénue/social media model in history.

Those names go all the way back to the original Kenner figures of the '80s. I had them when I was a kid. It wasn't until my father showed me the 1950's The Day the Earth Stood Still when I was a teenager that I realized the names were a reference to something else!

This is going to be an EXTREMELY controversial movie... Maybe more controversial than the prequels, the sequels and Rogue One combined IMHO....

I GUARANTEE you it will be a better Star Wars movie than The Least Jedi.

Ron just called me, he asked me to hold his beer.

All I’m hoping for is a fun summer time popcorn movie. And it looks like that’s what we are getting. SW ain’t Shakespeare you know.

What’s the deal with L3-37? Some obscure EU reference I don’t get?

Does this mean that the ‘l337’ speak is finally a thing of the past? Thank the Maker!

The real question is whether they'll get the axis of rotation* right this time.

Guessing? Nope.

* You can certainly see it on the hyperspace shots, here - the focal point of the jump is 'dead center' in the cockpit. Which makes little sense, given the cockpit is not the center of the Millennium Falcon. But when the thing is doing "aileron rolls" it's even more obvious, as the stars spin around the center of the cockpit again.
