  • Fixed Crossbowmen Duplicate entries in Trays submenu. The ones without hotkeys are inactive.
  • Added Rank Discipline, Simultaneous Orders
  • Fixed multiple add/lose figure menu bugs involving most 2x1 tray configurations across all units for the right most tray.
  • Temp fix for 3x2 Spearmen and Right Turn 3. (Seems there is a vassal bug)

@tgall I'm not making much headway on the graphics assignment you gave me (in part because I've been preparing for this weekend's store champs) so if you want to share the same assignment with @Uthoroc , I won't be offended.

Background images for the battlefield are 4770x3240.

You'll note that there is an area off to the left hand side that I've expanded specifically for cards, runes etc that are central to game play. Likewise there is an area above and below for both players. I can send you directly the "Lame Green Field" in use if you like. I've not spent any time on a skirmish map but I guess I should so that scales up and also works with cards and the runes too. The 3x3 map right now is probably broken.

So yeah if you want to create some better battlefields, totally, go for it! I'll include.

The task I've asked @Budgernaut to do and maybe you want to help out with this, there are several points in the game when you need to measure say distance 1 or 3 or whatever from a thing. To make this work well in the game, we need alternative graphics with range bands. The fun challenge (and I've no idea how to easily do this) is how do you take a thing, say the dimorian fissure, and put a say 200 pixel boundary around it of one color, then another say 200 pixels of another color and so on, so you can see distance 1, distance 2 etc.

Yup please do! I thought I had gone through and covered the faction specific as well as the generic upgrades but I wouldn't be surprised if I missed something.

Do you have an idea for how you're going to implement figure upgrades in units? I am looking forward to that feature, but honestly, every time I think of how one would implement that, I'm left scratching my head. Sorry I'm not much help there.

Yes, I have an idea how to do it. Just haven't gotten there yet. Finishing out on all the tray combos then that'll be essentially next if I don't get distracted by adding Uthuk/Latari :-)

  • Fix bugs involving rotation for 3x3 trays
  • Add card and dials, 2x1, 2x2, 3x2 Outland Scouts
  • Fix bugs involving rotation and movement for 4x3 trays, and completing 4x3 Reanimates
  • Fill in 4x2 trays for Reanimates
  • Add in Distance / Range Graphic for many/most unit and tray combos (3x2, 4x2, 4x3 missing yet) (Thanks Ralf!!!)

As it stands right now, you should be able to play a game involving Daqan or Waiqar.

In this release we have:

  • Add Latari Cards
  • Add 3x3 Spearmen
  • Move Player Morale Decks onto the table (and get ready for Uthuk Shenanigans)
  • Added Ailana of Summersong, tray, dials, card etc
  • Added initial Aymhelin Scion 1x1 tray, dials and card
  • Added Maegan Cyndewin tray, dials and card

Looking forward with 0.7.0 I'm going to declare "beta" mode. I'll finish up the Latari and couple of Waiqar and Daqan tray combos but otherwise the core stuff should more or less be there with 0.7.0

Major things I'll be working on that after that will be getting health to properly stick around when trays are removed. Then Champions and Fortress units being rendered on the table when part of a unit.

In this release quite a bit of Latari support added. The force is fairly complete save for a few tray configurations. Latari should be playable. The other big change that I've started is to add in support such that when a figure is removed from a tray, then you remove a different tray, the tray with the removed figure won't be forgotten. Likewise the health values for Scions, Golems, Lancers, etc are preserved so no more removing a tray and then having to put health values back, least for those units. It's experimental yet so there probably are some bugs.

  • Added 4x2 Distance measurements
  • Added 2x1, 2x2 Scions
  • Added Deep Wood Archers, 2x1, 2x2 and 3x2
  • Added Leonx Riders 2x1,2x2, and 2x3
  • Added Latari cards
  • Added Carrion Lancers 2x2
  • For Rune Golems, Carrion Lancers, Scions, and Oathsworn working on retaining Health Values when you remove trays - this feature will be extended to more units through the 0.7.x series.
  • Started to add in Wraiths
  • Some small tests on reporting actions, activations etc
  • 3x2 distance markers added
