Does facing matter as far as attacking goes? Do your front edges have to be contacted to fight? Had a situation come up where both units were touching back edge to back edge.
Melee and facing
If your front is to others side you are flanking and get and extra die.
If you are attacking from your side or rear, you do not get any rerolls.
Threat is equal to contacted trays, so may vary on facing, latest faq has good images.

You still get rerolls as long as the enemy isn't flanking you.

Cool, for those edge case side to side conflicts. Makes the shift charge of leonx/Aliana more interesting.
Really? I thought you got no rerolls when flanked or flanked flanking. That would make column tactics even better on cats!

You can't be flanked flanking. You are only flanking when your front edge is touching your enemy side or back.

True, I was meaning to be flanking an opponent but not flanking them because it's your side or rear contacting...in laymans terms, flanked flanking, which is not flanking?
