I' m doing a conversion of the Chimaera as an ISD I, but I see in the wook that Chimaera has 8 turbos surrounding the bridge. Now I thought this was standard armament, a secondary battery protecting the bridge as you see in RotJ during the A-wing run on the Executor. Any rebels watchers, can you tell me if they may be heavy turbos like the broadside barbettes, or is this just the wook being silly like it does sometimes.

Its the wook being silly, and the fact that Rebels itself doesn't conform...

The Chimaera is an ISD-1. That comes from the Rebels Crew, backed by Pablo and the Holocron.

But even in Rebels, ISD-1s are depicted with ISD-II style Quad Turbos... Because thats just what they do.

Yeah I figured it was just the work being silly. The octuple heavy batteries I just assumed was a quirk of 7th fleet SDs, a that they were a transitional ship between the 1 and the 2, a refit.

It’s been applied to all ISDs shown in Rebels, not just 7th... including Konstantines 5th.

now, in Legends, Chimaera was an ISD 2, but it’s been retconned down to a 1 for Rebels...

The "Kuat Refit" (but making the assumption that it's a refit of the Imperial II) might fit better, statwise, for those that want to replay Legends battles with the Chimaera.

Because it gains access to torpedoes. And Pellaeon uses torpedoes, in Specter of the Past.

Be careful about cutting those turbolasers off. They'll likely retcon them eventually, if you're patient...
