.. besides, what if the Star Wars version of a Cat IS painted there?

It's not, though. It is just the Latin spelling from its Greek roots.

Well, I stand corrected on that then. Thx.

Lolthcat.

Clearly not a domestic cat. And only on Lothal, so hardly a common pet.

Perhaps thevsquiddlyface Chimaera is... I mean, we don’t live there to know...

It is, however, a regional variant of the much more widespread (and often domesticated) tooka:

So... Why do Tookas need Polishing?

Thrawn

Star Wars Chimaera does not need to = Greek Chimaera.

Also, it’s just awesome.

In My Not So Humble Opinion.

Also, wraithdt, this your work? If so it’s fantastic.

The design is fantastic and looks phenomenal on the model.

Why is this even a point of contention?

Its the name of a Star Destroyer from a beloved nearly thirty year old book series. Chill, Rebels isnt ruining anything.
EDIT: What would ruin the star destroyer is if I saw this emblazoned on it.

On the side note, have you noticed that new star destroyer is on taller peg than old one? Looks great as a centrepiece of fleet.

This Etruscan interpretation could work, though it wouldn't make sense to see recognizable earth animals in Star Wars:

What they used on the Chimaera is more akin to a multi headed hydra though.

Or Thrawn's? Or I may be going paranoic, that is not totally in the realms of impossibility

Thrawn was depicted with the two lizard ornament in the background, which basically framed his shoulders, being a tribute to the Legends story where he draped Ysilimari over his shoulders.
