You're nobody. But not to me. Steel Squadron February!

By BiggsIRL, in Star Wars: Armada

Hey, it's not as Iconic a love confession as "I know", but I used that one last year. It's Valentines Day special here at Steel Squadron, and we're staring the month of Armadasgiving (and Wave 7) off with a World Cup Elimination Round Preview (with another already written and primed for tomorrow!)

Also at some point we passed 750,000 all time pageviews, so... uh... good job all of you people killing time at work by reading our articles.

We'll do something cool for 1,000,000 if I remember to do so.

Ugh, that line. When people complain that johnson doesn't get star wars and that he doesn't understand the Jedi / Sith I think of this. It's such a perfect example of how manipulative the dark side is and might be the best example of how someone falls. People that go to the dark side don't necessary want power for powers sake; they're weak, damaged, and/or hurt people who are trying to find their way in the world and are offered a path to a means of control they've likely never had access to. I loved this line, i loved the way it was delivered, and while I agree that the film has serious issues the story between these two was so well written that it lets me overlook a lot of the bad.

TL;DR Kylo and Rey are the best part of the new trilogy so far.

Sorry i randomly commented on something entirely unrelated to your post :)

... I should have made an "I hate sand" joke, and saved this for next year.

2nd this.

Truly one of my favorite aspects of the new trilogy.

I actually really like that entire scene. It is great for showing the pull of the dark side, but also great for showing Kylo's insecurities. He wants someone to join him, to work with him. He wants a peer, an equal. Not a master, one of whom betrayed him, the other who he betrayed. In that moment of the story, I wanted Rey to say yes, and have the whole thing go off the rails.

I should get the "Best Uses for Imperial Ships" written soon and one of these days I'll record another tactics video.

It's not too late.

personally I don't think either will ever turn, but I think those two are going to find a way to make it work.

Great line...

I prefer

"Nobody is from nowhere! Where are you from?"

"Jakku."

"Ok, that is nowhere..."

I would like to point out that I enjoy taking a CF dial at the opportune moment.

So that's actually a maximum of 7 red, 6 blue.

Rerollable. With IF!

If something survives that... it has a decent chance of 1-shoting a VSD... the brace is definitely gone bc of IO, and the Cymoon does go 1st the round after :D

That said I've played a LOT (too much maybe) Sloane, so I'm not underestimating her!

Half the article just disappeared upon publication. I've had to pull it back and reconstruct it when I get the chance.

Hahaha perfect summary of the matchup of @rasproteus and I!

That's really deep

Re-wrote the article. Broba vs Rasp is now back up.

#blameitonkonstantine

@Ginkapo has watched Rebels way too many times. Now, he believes he has to fly him thematically, i. e. as an incompetent imperial admiral who can be beaten every single time by a 28 pt. list (the Ghost).
