If it fits alongside Asajj I'm game.

But seriously if they do, it'll be a SWX06 repack/repaint ?, they won't do a third sculpt will they ?

Given that the spoilers to date seem to indicate a falcon with a different paintjob and a totally different front end (longer forks without a mandible gap in between) they almost certainly will do a new sculpt if they do it at all.

Which let's face it, they will.

Yay, another falcon (!)

Considering what the new (old) version is supposed to look like, a new sculpt would be necessary.

I was stating a fact, and not in surprise.

Let’s not forget the Oscar dominance of Return of the King , a movie which was both popular and who’s books arguably STARTED an entire genre.

But again, NINE award winning movies, who’s combined earnings not even totaling the Box Office of a single Star Wars movie is almost as impressive as a backwater orphan and a Lord of Emo teaming up to defeat a paragon of the Dark Side and his eight veteran sentinels.

I saw a rumor about a new anti-gunrunning TIE variant that's in the movie.

And for those of us who don't care about such sports, when exactly will that be? Ah, nevermind, I'll look it up.

Edit: holy cow! That's this weekend!

So we're speculating on which ships are in the movie now, huh?

...

GUNBOAT!!!

Anything fits with her imo, as long as it distracts, bumps, get a few points of damage in, and can take a few hits.

I know this feel.

"Solo trailer at superbowl"

Not American and not many sports fans amongst my star wars nerds. Doesn't seem like much crossover from my perspective. This weekend you say? Well hopefully non American non americanfootball fans get a trailer to watch on YouTube or something.

So. When the scum falcon comes out and it will be the most op thing ever (almost sure of it) can we agree that the developers have giant boners for them?

As this relates to X-Wing:

1. We haven't seen anything from this movie yet to indicate whether the Falcon('s pilots) will be more fitting for Rebels, Scum, Imperials or some other faction that doesn't quite fit into this game. It think it's likely that this movie will have a rebels v the Empire plot and if that's the case we can guess which side the protagonists will belong to. Kessel is an Imperial prison planet where Wookiees are worked to death, as well as a source for space cocaine. Which one of those aspects do you think Disney is going to be interested in?

2. We don't know when this movie takes place, but it might be before the Galactic Civil War, which could be outside of FFG's "Rebellion era going way forward" timeframe for X-Wing. However, I would expect FFG to release this new version anyway.

3. A new Falcon would probably be a very distinct ship from the existing versions. I'd expect a 4-dice mobile arc.

Space cocaine.

I have got a really bad feeling about this.

Might ruin the Han Solo character forever. There will probably be plenty of women making him look stupid. Then there will be a lot of Leslie Nielson like humor.

And the falcon is going to be used to rescue animals or something. Of course the falcon is going to have completely different look with without any reasoning why. Then we are going to ask ourselves how the falcon could be modified to get the look it had in Episode IV.

We should not care about such things though. Just buy the toys and shut up :)

New falcon! Yay!

I am an American, and I forgot it was this weekend... not really looking forward to seeing the Patriots win another Super Bowl...

The last few super bowls have had ~170 million viewers (about half the population of the united states). It's not just an event for football fans, it's the one game a year many non-fans watch.

One of the biggest draws for the non-fans are the super bowl commercials (yes I realize how ridiculous that is). Companies spend millions of dollars for 30 second ads because viewership is so high.

It's exactly the right place for a preview with such mass appeal as the next Star Wars movie.

*Edit* Oh, and yes, it will be on YouTube within minutes of its airing.

2. We don't know when this movie takes place.

(1) Solo was not a rebel prior to A New Hope. It's not about prior cannon that is now "Legend" under Disney... it's about how Solo was portrayed in A New Hope: a swashbuckling scoundrel who gets caught up in the rebellion purely by accident.

(2) We know it is a young Solo and that Solo's age in A New Hope is supposed to be between 25-29. It most certainly is going to occur roughly 5-10 years prior to A New Hope. It can not happen to close to A New Hope because the Falcon was somewhat "known" throughout pilots (particularly spice runners, and other scum) and there needs to be time for it (as a ship) to have it's adventures and then news to spread throughout the galaxies seedy underground... but it can not happen to far back from A New Hope because Solo is not being portrayed as a child in this movie.

For some reason about a third to half of the United States basically comes to a stand still on Super Bowl Sunday.

I'm going up to the mountains to play in the snow with my family because it's one of the few days in the winter in which the slopes are most void of crowds.

Ironically, I usually go to the park to play football with my family... I like football, just not the commercials. When I have to watch more ads than game, it's no fun. Besides, it's just a game - nobody should get paid to play football IMO... unless I should get paid to play X-Wing. :D

Responses to points:

1. As mentioned, Han, Lando, and likely other characters are not in the rebellion. Gamewise scum faction fits. Though Bink and Tag could be a cross faction unique, kind of like BoShek.

2. We know it is before A new Hope, Han is about 10 years older than Leia, and the rebellion started to form at the end of Episode 3.

3. Going by leaked Lego sets, a mobile arc would be welcomed, but the cannon(s) pictured only had one barrel. A two dice attack is more likely.

I don't have a problem with the commercials. Truthfully there are not really that many commercials during the actual super bowl than a typical regular season game... it's just that there is SOOO much pregame prior in which there are commercials AND the advertisers for the super bowl pull out the best they can. Not to mention that (as we all know) the amount of money it cost to get an ad on during the super bowl is insanely crazy.

As far as getting paid for playing sports (or anything else in this world) if there is a demand, and money to be made for the "owners" and leagues... than the players will get paid and I don't have a problem with that.

That said, I'd rather watch real football than NFL.
