Fantasy Flight could you please make a TANTIVE IV DECK MAP

By Boomer_J, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I hope I’m not resurrecting a dead thread but...

I would love to have them make this map in detail to recreate the New Hope opening boarding party battle. Please “Make it so”. Sorry wrong franchise quote. :P

Skirmish, or campaign?

Both coach. (Bo Knows IA)

YES, the white hallways of a corvette have been sorely missed from this game. Hope that they make it the interior tiles if they ever do a scarif expansion.

A finale mission that forces the heroes to take on the role as the ones carrying the plans through the Profundity to the Tantive IV (in addition to those Rebel Troopers) would be amazing.

I like this idea. I'd prefer a more generic CR90 cruiser interior - not specifically the Tantive- but I think this could be really cool. I really like the mission in Battlefront 2 (2017) where the rebels enter the death star 2 from a CR90 that has literally crashed into the death star. In that spirit, some tiles that were part ship and part demolished ship could be cool.

I was thinking of this as well. The only classic trilogy locations that I can think of that haven't been made into a tileset are (Degoba) swamps and Rebel capital ships.

I felt that one possible reason that we didn't see the "obvious" Endor box set was because the tilesets would have likely been yet more variants on (Endor) forest and (DS2) Imperial installation. HOTE managed to add a lot more variety with a completely new environment.

Im quite happy to miss out the forrest tiles from vendor but I would really like the shield generator tiles. even if they are made somewhat generic. maybe a village in forrest would be good too. the tiles are so versatile for things like RPGs aswell.

Would just love to have the Quest Vault from Descent here. Then we could make Skirmish map-contests :)

Repetition of base game tiles didn't stop both Twin Shadows and Jabba's Realm of including a lot of desert stuff.

Though I agree variety would be better, for sure. I've said a lot that forest tiles with large trees could be useful for both Endor and Kashyyyk. Throw in some beach tiles for Kashyyyk/Scarif and you have yourself a box set.

We've also seen mission mechanics provide the means to use ladders and elevators. You could do something like that and include some Ewok village tiles along with the forest we already have.
