Alpha's Repaints

By Alpha17, in X-Wing Painting and Modification

And I'm back! Not necessarily a good thing, but it is what it is. Couple quick repaints for today:

First up is a repaint of the old, fixed-wing X-Wing, in a camo pattern to match my E-Wing. Not sure why, but I really like how this looks, especially along with the E.

Next up is an even simpler repaint, basically giving a B-Wing a Blue Squadron paint job.

The Blue Squadron markings look great! Keep up the good work!

Up for today, a U-Wing repaint:

Decided to give my original U-Wing a paintjob to match the X-Wing and E-Wing. I think it looks good on the space Huey.

And all three together:

Now if I could just make a list of these three actually be competitive!

Been too busy painting to remember to post these up.

K-State-Wing: Since I'm currently a student at K-State, this repaint was practically a requirement. If only I could find a small enough Power Cat stencil or sticker for the Wings.... I mixed the paint, so it came out more violet than purple, but I do like how it turned out.

Eeey I have friends at K-State ?

I really love the camo paintjobs you did on your ships. Did you stencil anything, or was it all freehand?

Sorry for the delay. The camo jobs were all freehand, no stencils used. That's why I mostly went with the "random blob" approach to patterns.
