Buuut as the the phantom title card says:

"While you are docked, the Ghost can perform primary weapon attacks from its special firing arc, and, at the end of the Combat phase, it may perform an additional attack with an equipped . If it performs this attack, it cannot attack again this round.

If you blow the ghost title, as there nosmore Ghost in play, no more double tap and no more rear special firing arc.

The issue is finding an effective carrier ship - the real contenders are Firesprays (3 attach means you can GC a crit), Scurggs w/out system slots, or Bossk's Bus.

Isn’t the Phantom technically not in play while docked, ie: Boba cannot target it?

Also, It thought this was already resolved a few years ago, it’s just a condition to begin the game.

Correct, however the title still does something because its specifically called out "while docked"
Its the only card that does do something while it is "not in play while docked"

Yeah. Its a tough call between the tlt and the title. I'd say the title actually since it really messes with the arcs.

The Ghost and Boba Fett crew are not new cards, shouldn't we already know what happens here with this?

I've played this matchup from the side of Kanan and even losing the TLT to a lucky crit didn't stop me from winning the game. Then you 5K or 4 straight behind Bossk next round and light him up with your primary. Firesprays are a dubious Boba carrier. Also not sure how good it will be against the other things the meta is running right now.

That's a good point. In which case, removing Ghost will remove the rear arc and double-tap (or the free co-ordinate depending on which phantom it is), as well as locking the phantom in the hangar

That does not matter, the FAQ says Boba cannot affect docked ships. Now DicesonFire is correct, pop the Ghost title and the double tap and deployment anytime ability dissapears.

This is the only change I really care about. Trelix and Boba would be nice, Mangler is mandatory, and add Slave One title, EM and Harpoons (and Toss up for LRS or Chimps) or just go Harpoon EM chimps for that auto crit. But we will never see this

I was using Bossk + AHM + Boba crew to one shot Palp off of Lambda's and TLT's off of Miranda.

its a lot to say "play scum, take a ship with crew, take bobba, take a reliable crit-dealing upgrade, chug through shields, crit" ... to remove a 6 point upgrade. by my calculations its almost always easier to kill your target than garuantee Bobba goes off, unless your fighting an epic ship. obviously ripping off hardpoints is valuable

From my perspective, that's the reason why the card Is so lame. I'd love to play it but filling the crew slot with this one trick which Is do hard to pull off Is just too expensive.

Omicron, Mangler, Boba. This needs to be a thing.

Or Boba on the Doom Shuttle. THAT would be some awesome jank, if Boba’s wording was changed to work with any face up card or crit damage from Vader. Maybe Imp Fett Crew can make this happen...just have to think of an expansion that has an excuse to include the Fett.

thematically the card never made much sense, but i always assumed he was sniping the upgrade off while hanging out an airlock, Jane style.

jet packing onto a ship your allies are trying to explode seems like a bad plan

26pt, 9 hp ship with a turret. Combine him with heavy hitters to knock shields off the ghost and not even fenn rau himself can stop ASTS from triggering that crit on the ghost. This is a timebomb and the ghost can either attack your 26 pt ship and hope to kill him before his shields are gone, which means leaving the aces/hitters alone.

Fire two plasmas, eliminating range bonus, and with only a single evade token, plasmas can eliminate all shields, and the scout can ASTS the ghost.

With glitter (countering Fenn Rau) Thweek with plasmas/glitter versus ghost with evade is 2 expected hits aka 3 shields with plasma. Fenn with naked plasma (assuming Fenn shuts his focus down) is 2 expected hits aka 3 shields. Now the scout fires with ASTS :lol:

The list is also **** tough versus anything else as well.
