Norra + Target Synchronizer

By Rettere, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Can Norra spend a targeting synchronizer target lock for her ability?

Yes

iirc the only targetlock based effects that DONT work with TargetSync is "if you have a targetlock on the defender" stuff - ie ATC, OS-1, or OmegaLeader

Yes, when Norra is attacking. She cannot use a target lock from Targeting Synchronizer for her defensive ability.

Good clarification.

Is this mentioned anywhere regarding OS-1?

its literally the entire gimick of the OS1 title.

"You may perform attacks with (T) or (M) secondary weapons against ships you have locked even while you have a weapons disabled token"

Thats the same ruling as ATC or OL - you have to actually have a targetlock sitting there for the effect. Plus even if ATC/OL worked with synch, OS1 wouldnt because its not an attack and does nothing once it enables the attack.

Aha! I understand the reasoning behind ATC and OL, closes a supposed loophole, but missed the OS-1 wording. Thanks! You destroyed a squad but saved me from a major faux pas.

Thanks again!
