As I was reading the X-Wing forums today, it occurred to me that they were delightfully free of the Tide Pod mania. But what aren't they free of? Gunboats.

Pack a big punch in a small package? Yes

Can't consume just one? Yes

Driven the community into a frenzy? Yes

Clean off all the scum? Surely

I think it's clear. We can't let kids have gunboats. The Alpha-class Star Wing needs to be pulled from shelves. I look forward to your feedback.

I heard kids were buying them up and selling them to their friends at school so they too could consume the goodness that is the GUNBOAT

I don't know, Adv. Proton Torps look suspiciously like them and those go on a Gunboat, not a Defender...

All joking aside, checkout chubbyemu on YouTube. He's in medicine and shows what happened when a 17 yo ate three of the pods. The kid is lucky to have survived.

To paraphrase a line from Aliens , "Did I.Q.s drop while I was away?" I'm thinking they did.

Obviously, little kids eating detergent pods was/is a real concern, but a 17-year-old? I guess this was the same crew playing the “punching game” a few years ago. At least they’re only hurting themselves now.

Now, on a much more serious note, what’s the detergent meta like in everyone’s area? ALL has been dominating my washer for years, but I heard Tide Pods just won a regional! I think my only option to stay competitive at this point is to net-launder.

Sadly, this is true if you remove the detergent jokes.

It seems Tide pods are good for cleaning up the human gene pool as well.
