I have pretty much all of the Imperial ships in the game, and I have no desire to get into another faction? What should I do next? Get some acrylic tokens and templates? Invest in painting 3d-printed models?

If you like formation flying, acrilyc templates are a must.
Then I'd say 3D asteroïds and debris, because that looks great on the table !

I recently purchased a kit from Alien Luxury Miniatures to convert one of my extra TIE Advanced Prototypes (I needed a few copies of Chips) into a TIE Hunter from Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike. Going to paint it to match the rest of my imperial blue fleet.

I know you said you don‘t want to get into another faction, but maybe that wouldn‘t be too bad of an idea? Just get 1-3 ships you like and that can be put together into a list. After all, there is nothing special to a faction, just squads.

Other than that: I got acrylic obstacles as a gift last christmas, and some more acrylic tokens. Invest in a podcast to get some fancy tokens.

But most of all: invest in a nice storage solution! And make it scalable, because you‘ll need triple once you finally get into the other factions

Not good enough. Need to eradicate the "pretty much". Also add "multiple copies of".

Second that. Also, „multiple copies of“ means at least 8 TIE /LN and 5 Strikers. Also 3 TIE Advanced (1 from the Raider) and 2 Phantoms.

As rule of thumb: everything that can be attached to a Gozanti needs at least 4!

Acrylic templates for sure. Then I’d just go out and play the game. Find lists you like and go for it. Maybe add some extras of ships you need more than one of.

well since the Star Wing came out I have three and its only one of two imp. Lists I will play. The other has my Lambda Class in it... fun sometimes to shake things up a bit.

Offer to run hotac for someone with your imperial armory!

I do think it would be fun to get the Ghost, Phantom II, Sabine's TIE, and Auzituck... I'm just really hesitant to pour money into another faction.

Actually, you have to one-up everyone and have nine GUNBOATS like I do. That way you can custom paint them in even squads of three.

Also, with nine GUNBOATS you can imagine that the Rebels are all the people at Microsoft who named the latest OS Windows 10 because 9 is an unlucky number. Because that's what GUNBOATS are for - inducing fear into the hearts of all Rebels/Microsoft execs. They're like the Linux of X-Wing ships.

Sorry, I gotta break it to ya. Star Wars works in Flights of 4.

Pilot + Wingman = Element.

2 Elements = Flight

3 Flights = Squadron.

You need 3 more gunboats to repaint 1 for each Flight

My experience...enjoy slowly amassing enought ships to display one ISD's fighter wing.

12 Tie Bombers...

12 Tie Interceptors...
