I believe they have and called it Rogue One.
But we are in agreement here Dash.
Rogue One was great, my personal favorite outside of the Original Trilogy. I would like to see more Star Wars films in a similar vein...

Well played and, yes, the Disney finger prints were scrubbed off. Like, 99% not there and just a better movie because of it and I will leave it at that.
Just love Nolan's films and the what if of him having a single movie from the franchise is an ongoing dream.
