i don't really know if put some squadrons or a naked arquiten...

basically vic II + overload pulse must exaust and discard defence tokens of enemy ships and then assault gozanties finish the job using 2 red dices ( conc fire + normal red dice)
any suggestion how to spend 50 points???

The first Overload Pulse will exhaust all the ship's defence tokens. The second one that then hits that ship will not do anything more. The card says to exhaust not to spend.

One VSDII with OL Pulse and an ISD with Avenger is probably the combo you are looking for. It is a long standing combination that has become more practical with Disposable Capacitors. The new Strategic Adviser would make up for loosing a Gozanti to get enough points. I don't think Vader lists should bother too much about lots of Gozantis to boost activations. He really wants lots of combat ships in a list all firing away and using his ability to grant rerolls.

You could instead ditch the OL Pulse idea and have a look at Intel Officers. Leading shots on the VSDs would mean you can ditch Vader for Moff JJ or Motti.

No strategic Advisor.... we european people are very bad so se must wait....

I'm curious about this as well. Although I have a 2 Vic II/ Quasar/ 2 Goz list I want to try.

I prefer quad battery turrets and leading shots. Really works great on the vsd.

I can second the LS + QBT combo, seems like it was made for Vic II gunships. Although you don't need LS with Vader.

As for the 50 points, I'd take Cienna + Valen at a minimum. Prolly some extra TIEs also.

What about some of the new Heavy Ion Emplacements instead of OP? That would be fun.

I enjoy flying this fleet, not sure how competitive it is though. It doesn't like heavy bombing fleets. The spare 10 points is for 7th fleet titles. The objectives all allow the Vics to determine the engagement area and thus try to address one of their main weaknesses.

Very similar to this fleet I quite like. Cheaper lifeboat and a slightly bigger fighterball, I like the XX9's for dishing out crits too.
