My toughts on Sloane

I'v start thinking about Sloane fleet. As she is nice admiral I found that creating list with her is going to two routs. First run ISD Avenger that is boring for me. Second one, more chellenging is my choice. Here is my list. What do you think?Sloane test

On a more relevant note, Sloane tends not to perform well with bombers. Defenders are something of an exception to this, but she’s doing nothing for half your squadrons. Jonus is not an exception, because you want to burn their tokens with your squadrons; accuracies from ships don’t impact that and vice versa. Swapping out all the TIE bombers for anything with swarm will let you hit ships the Sloane way, and allow you to put up a fight against squadron presences that can wreck five combat squadrons (like other Sloane lists.);) If you don’t have fighter superiority, 80-90% of the list, like almost every Sloane list in that situation, is just about deadweight. I’d also downgrade the Glad to a 1, because neither the aforementioned Jonus nor flak are Sloane’s friends, and lose the BCC and at least one Comms Net (the Gozantis should be busy pushing squads through Jendon.) If you expect a spontaneous token craving in your future, Hondo is an option. Also worth noting: you have more carrier power than squadrons. Therefore, Expanded Hangar Bay isn’t currently the best use of points (that may change.) The best place for freed up points? Likely more swarm squadrons. Hope this helps!:)

I personally think the weak point of this list is Sloane on the QF. It maneuvers like a tub, has junk shields, and it's limited def tokens are easily locked down. Anyone worth their salt will charge the quasar and destroy it, and since sloane is on there, it means you then lose your late game ability to hunt and finish ships with your squads.

The 2+3+squads is a good format. But you need to find a way to keep Sloane safe.

Black squadron doesn't benefit from Howlrunner and has not enough hull. Zertek would be better and as you have too many squadrons to activate fully at the moment dropping a bit of quantity for quality makes sense. With Chiraneau in a list Mauler Mithel is a must. 2-3 turns of him ramming will win you most squadron fights.

It works better than it might seem. My favorite comp is 8 TIEs, 2 Lambdas, Dengar and Howl with a 4+1 bidding for second, and it’s been successful. I recognize I’m weird though.

First Wave and mop up squadrons

5 of Them with howlrunner and FC strike on enemy ship and then rest advance from gozanti. Was playing with motto, 3*Vice and 8 tie+6bomber with rhymmer at the start of my Armada adventure then swaped to Raiders (I love those ship) with small breake for glad, 2 kitties, 2 gozanti small fighters Group (6) that cost 128p and nie returned to Raiders swarm
