You're missing out. It's an absolutely fantastic science fiction / space opera with a gripping story, stunning visuals, and compelling characters.

The combat in the show is some of the best I've ever seen in a TV show.

I've long thought it impossible to show what realistic space combat would look like in a manner that isn't mind numbingly boring (an aside, what makes Star Wars so incredible is the detachment from reality). The Expanse succeeds with flying colors.

Anyhoo, hope you all enjoy it as much as I have been.

Ps it's based on a book series that is quite a bit further along than the show so you can read ahead between seasons.

I've watched season 1 I really liked the SciFi noir feel.

Ive also watched season one, eagerly awaiting season 2 on amazon. Also I had read all the books released thus far. I would recommend doing the reading, cuz while the show is well done, the books, as is almost always the case, are better.

Saw season 1 in Netflix. Really good show. Need to make myself some time to begin watching season 2

(PS: As someone who began to watch the show with absolutely no background, zero info regarding what the show was about, it was hard to keep track of the story and characters in the first episodes :s)
