"Syzygy" is an AO card in Eldritch Horror, representing a celestial alignment rather than the machinations of a particular entity.

Nyarlathotep is associated with Egypt, so doubtful he would show up in the jungles of the Americas.
hmmm, no target release quarter. To bad.
Oh yeah, you also have that Alert keyword on the enemy which is new.
Would it be fair to say that Ursula's secondary class is likely rogue? If so, she's going to be very solid, I think. The first investigator who looks like she can reliably do the clue/evasion game.

I was just writing this.
For Ursula, with her stat-line, I would originally have gone with Seeker with a secondary in Survivor, but we have that already.
I am suspecting she will be a Seeker/Rogue (she kind of seems like she raids tombs) or will be something unique like Marie, Mark or Akachi.
With Ursula being a Seeker, it seems unlikely that Norman will be included.
My prediction of the 5 investigators would be: Leo Anderson (Guardian), Monterey Jack (Survivor), Ursula Downs (Seeker), Trish Scarbourough (Rogue), and Marie Lambeau (Mystic). Trish and Marie are the wild cards, in my opinion. There are other options that could fit, especially for Marie. Thematically, I don't see Marie in the jungle... but I think they need to get the card out there. There are other Mystic investigators that I'd like to see here, but I think it is time to get her card out. Trish could work with the theme here. There are probably others that could as well though.
Based off the new article, looks like Yig. After all we've got the treachery card specifically saying Curse of Yig.
Wow! This game's art just gets better and better; amazing work.
Some of these do reinforce the notion that it involves "the fabric of time".
It looks like the curse gives your investigator a trait.
„Until the End of Time“ seems like an investigator specific card to me. And the first line is usually „xxx deck only“, right?
Therefore I think there will be an Investigator with a „W“ in his/her last name after a (short) first name? Kate Winthrop? Calvin Wright? Harvey Walters?
I think we can rule out Norman Whiters, because his „normal“ signature cards are „Livre d‘Eibon“ and „The Harbinger“. And Daisy Walker.
Or am I completely wrong here?
I think it is Calvin Wright. The only other person it could be is Harvey Walters, and he probably would be a Seeker. Calvin Wright would fit into the Survivor class slot in this box. (Unless FFG does something crazy and releases two investigators with the same class in this box).

I think you‘re right. Also the person in the picture looks too young for Harvey Walters.

It could be a story asset.

Oh, right. That,s possible, too.
Looking at it, the W seems very indented to the right. I think that looks more like a "Reaction: When..." than someone's name. It's too far right to be a first name, but too left to be a last name.
I think it's just when x happens do x.
I think it's too far right to be a reaction. Although I'm still not sure if it's a Investigator specific or story asset.

I thought so, too, but wouldn't it have a scenario icon in the upper right?

Yeah, it only looks far to the left because it's at an angle with Mists of Releh. No encounter symbol means it's probably a signature. Given that Withers, Walters, and Winthrop would be redundant Seekers (though, granted, we only know Norman's class, but what else could the other two be?), that leaves either Wright or a new character.
I do think it is odd that the article keeps saying "scientific" which would be a tell for Kate. That being said, unless there are two seekers, I don't really see Kate as any other primary class.
QuoteIn The Forgotten Age, one to four players embark on a scientific expedition to the rainforests of southern Mexico with five new investigators, as well as an incredible eighty-seven scenario cards and sixty-four player cards (two copies each of thirty-two distinct cards).
QuoteThe first of the scenarios included in The Forgotten Age, The Untamed Wilds, throws you into the middle of your scientific expedition where your team of investigators has ventured far into the rainforests of southern Mexico in search of a forgotten Aztec city-state.

It definitely seems possible that it's Calvin.
Crazy how after years of being a "semi-official" investigator, FFG seems to have taken a renewed interest in the character with him appearing in the new EH and ES expansions and now possible here as well...

He ultimately did get an official investigator sheet for Arkham, although a promotional one.
At this point, though, they're out of pre-existing gators in Eldritch and Elder Sign, so I would expect to a similar gator mix as they each get new boxes. It's either that or separate new ones for each line. ![]()
