they could easily set it up as the X-wing of clone wars, as far as variants go.. Anakin's Yellow one in the Starter, Obiwan's Red one in the Expansion, and a third color in a set (no additional colors in canon that i know of, but Legends had SaeSee Tiin's in Green, and Mace Windu's in Purple. plus one from SW:Galaxies in blue.

as far as pilots go, there are a ton of Jedi in the canon and Legends they can draw on.

If they include the really tiny fighters in pairs on a base, then you'd likely get a yellow and red one I'd assume.

It would be cool if they release the Martyr, Grevious' personal ship before becoming a cyborg.

What we can deduce:

Scimitar is large base.
Darth Maul is PS5.
CIS has orange base color.
Anakin will be a Delta-7 pilot.
Wave 3 as the release of the new faction looks possible.

The big question now is:
Do Scimitar's wings fold?

Dunno where the Delta with base comes from, the rest is from the latest Star Wars show. It's definitely a large base, in the other thread someone posted a comparison.

The scimitar is an interesting choice. I know we saw the art at GenCon, so it's not that much of a surprise to see it now, but it's a pretty rare ship and I think we only know one pilot there could be for it?

Well we have Maul, they can likely toss in his brother, and since Palpatine took the craft back maybe Sidious?

going by the canon, Maul, Sideous, and Grevious all flew it at one time or another. and it was a modifed version of a normal Star Courier design, so you could get a generic in the same way we got the Outer Rim Smuggler for the YT-1300 (and other similar generics for the YT-2400 and VCX-100)

A generic droid pilot is possible for Scimitar. Maybe Sidious, he was a crew card in that story, but it's not a big of a stretch that the secret Sith Lord would sometimes use a super stealthy ship that he owned.

Bugger. Medium base ship with native cloak could be unpleasant.

It appears to be large.

And that it should have the jam action!

I hope they go the route of only having unique pilots for the Scimitar.
