can you interact to open the doors on this map or can they only be opened by the end of round effect ?

You can interact to open the doors, and you must open two doors at the end of the round if applicable (there is no "may").

Doors that are not locked can be opened by interacting with them.

**** that changes the way i have tested on it, we have always assumed that since they tell you when the door open that it was the only way they open.

The End of Round effect is just a 'free' way to open doors.

I am a little confused about the crates on this map. In scenario A obviously you play the map with the crates as shown. Do you do the same with scenario B? Or are there only 2 crates as indicated in the spaces labeled 'B1'

In scenario B, all crates from scenario A are still present, plus you add those 2 more crates in the middle
