It seems that the majority of the time, when a situation occurs that requires a number be rounded up or down, it usually rounds in favor of the Investigators. For instance, when you must discard half of your items when you are knocked unconscious or driven insane, the rulebook specifically states "half, rounded down."
However, I notice on one of my player-made turn sequence documents that, when available, "half prices are rounded up." In other words, if for some reason you are able to purchase items at half price, said price is always rounded up to the detriment of the Investigators. I assume this is to avoid items that would otherwise be free, $1 items at half price. Does anyone know where this ruling is printed in the actual game documentation? Which rule book? I can't find it and I need to "prove" the rule with an official source as opposed to a third party print out.
Also, are there any other instances of rounding up/down that do not round in favor of the Investigators? Thanks!
