Vader Force Choke on Large and Massive figures

By topacesteve, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Guys please tell me that this doesnt happen !!!! The card reads any figure !!!! Totally unthematic

By rules as written (RAW) yes it's legal. Unfortunately "thematic" usually isn't part of the consideration when it comes to ruling questions

Why is it unthematic? Are you doubting Vader's powers?

For massive figures there should be another Text on vader's card, specifically for them with less hits. You don do the same damage on a person and an At-St

Vader is choking the AT-ST driver. Vader is choking the Rancor. With the Force. All seems legit to me.

But it is less of a hit. Force choke Gideon, uh-oh. Force choke a walker... what force choke?

Even if you're playing an RPG you can thematically think of something to represent this, pulling some wires/plating, pop a gasket/hose.

What's the problem? Juest take your at-st miniature into your hand and grasp it with all your strentgh. Anything happened? That's how force choke works :P

size matters not

You underestimate the power of the dark side.

:D Μesa BOMBAD GENERAL !!!! i fear no JEDIS !!!

Don't forget Vader chokes Jabba with the same intensity he uses it no anybody else, and it's canon, so...

"...Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is."
