It doesn't work and its very clear why it doesn't.

Deadeye + Recon Spec = 4 points. Why not just use expertise which also equals 4 points? Take a focus action, spend the focus on adding a focus result and use expertise.

Got confused by the Maul Norra thread, I think.

There is a HUGE debate about deadeye on the rules sub forum. Short answer is its a toss up but most people think you can't blanket use deadeye to swap Focus for TL on stuff.

I really want it to work but FFG needs to say it does in a FAQ.

What? Where? I looked for the yuge debate and didn't find it.

I always enjoy watching people get all lathered up about a plastic spaceship game.

Although I like asking on the forums to be sure (when I think I've found a combo), my general rules is - If I don't see the netlisters using the combo, it probably doesn't work.

Yea, but some cards can change the way they work without being changed themselves. Target Synch works with friendly primary weapon now, but when it was first released there was debate about it. Then a faq came out stating what a game effect actually is. So doesnt hurt to get other peoples thoughts on the matter. If anything, its good conversation.

Yes, I agree. That is why I ask on the forums, even if people are going to rip into me.
