Which pilots are the most thematic?

Probably because his ability isn't perfectly thematic. It should be "when its base overlaps an enemy ship, this ship is destroyed. Then you may immediately win the game."

I don't get the sense that "colliding with the ship" is specifically the reference to his ability - rather, that Arvel generally likes flying really close to his targets all the time, and so doesn't get the penalty for near-collisions that other pilots suffer. And usually that worked out - it only got him killed the one time, after all! (Although taking down an SSD at the same time, so...)

I can tell you who's the least thematic

Quickdraw, who retaliates after getting shot <_<

No that honor is Dengar's.

He was supposed to be an ace pilot and not a random murderhobo. His ability should be something like Hera or Juno, but at ps 9.

But they made the dial insane and gave him an OP ability for ***** and giggles. And people say there is no scum bias :D

To be fair... considering his gut, horrific face, large gun, and an outfit clearly made of reconstituted trash, he looks waaay more like a murderhobo than he does an ace pilot.

MAAAAAUUUULLL!!!!!

is my answer if we go crew cards.

I would say Wedge and Wes would be at the top. Honorable mention to Tycho; missed the mark squarely on Fett ☹️

Soontir Fel.

His action economy fits nicely into "best pilot in the galaxy" part.
