Which pilots are the most thematic?

By Kyle Ren, in X-Wing

Which pilot do you think is the most thematic, and why?

For example, some possible nominees:

Poe (very good, like in the movies)

Kylo (even better, like in the movies)

Vader (really good, like in the movies)

Biggs (pretty much worthless, still able to take one for the team)

My official choice:

Fel's Wrath. Because nobody knows who the heck he/she is.

New Chewy Wookiee raging when his friends die.

Red Ace obvs

Porkins. "I can hold it!"

Dash is also pretty great for his expertise at navigating obstacles.

We have a winner

I disagree. When he doesn’t blow it up in time, he actually does get hurt by them in the video game. Maybe he forgot to say he was using his ability?

Resistance Han is pretty themeatic, based on his lightspeed approach.

I would like to make an honorable mention for partners in universe actually synergising in game, like Jan and Kyle, as well as Zuckess and 4-Lom (paring crew and pilot together).

Well, he did pop up alive after his "run in" with the Skyhook.

Chewie. Because everyone knows he’s the better pilot.

Oh god. How did I forget Arvel?

Probably because his ability isn't perfectly thematic. It should be "when its base overlaps an enemy ship, this ship is destroyed. Then you may immediately win the game."

Rho Squadron Veterans.

They come in, f**k s**t up and leave, just like in the video game.

Probably Oicunn. He just gets to smack into **** whenever he wants.

Luke “the force is strong in this one”

Somebody pointed out Maarek Stele's ability may be based on the ability to target different enemy ship systems in the TIE Fighter game, though I haven't played it.

I can tell you who's the least thematic

Quickdraw, who retaliates after getting shot <_<

Think of it like the bullet hitting a glass she was about to drink from, and with reflex she quickly fired at them, boom solved

Academy Pilot. Faceless and disposable. The perfect Imperial pilot.

Next rest stop, 50 miles.

Both the TIE Adv. Prototype named pilots work pretty well. Inquisitor can hunt someone down fairly well, and Valen Rudor only does stuff after the explosions have already happened. Fits perfectly with his first appearance on Rebels.

I like Han Solo's ability to trust into luck.

Lando crew and C-3P0 are both up there.

Oh, you sweet summer child. Everybody is a somebody! The vast majority of FFG Pilots, including Imperial callsigns, can be found in the 90s CCG by Decipher:

The Inquisitor. It always seems like he's right behind you!

Lt. Lorrir. In the books, Corran Horn could pick him out in combat because of his tendency to sideslip with his fighter.
