Demolish vs figures with a large base

Let say a Nexu occupies spaces A-B-C-D as shown below. Now suppose Drokkatta demolishes space D. Does the Nexu suffer 1 damage or 4 damages?

Does it play like Blast, which I think would not trigger (for A-B-C) if let say Fenn was attacking the nexu via space D?

Demolish says "each figure and object".

(i.e. Nexu suffers 1 damage.)
