I saw a Post over in the XWing reddit about 200 point games. 200 points minimum 2 Epic points, on a 3x3. It looked like great fun.

Has anyone here had experience with a game like that?

Yes. I have regularly played in that format and it’s pretty awesome. The big huge ships are a bit unwieldy so we stick to the small huge ships. My bro learnt to love the dastardly transport thanks to this format - he thought it was a stupid, useless ship and only wanted to take the corvette! It is also a good way to get used to huge ship rules and shorter play time of course.
