I don't think they will be as bad as people are making them out to be. Those appear to be computer renders not like the actual plastic.

Yeah people on the Facebook group are really hating on Leia hard. It's bringing out some... Unsavory types who have horrible things to say about women in general. I think that Leia will be just fine. Wait till someone like sorastro gets his have on it. Then we can see the true potential of the mini.

I can’t wait to paint the Rebel Fleet Troopers in different schemes. I also think I want two Leias one to paint normal and maybe one in more extreme colors.

I took the rendered picture and did some color on it with photoshop. She doesn't seem to be so bad at all. But the paint job at the pictures of the article was! Her skin to dark and her eyes way to black. With lighter color for the face she will look good!

True, I'm sure she'll look a lot better once she's painted by someone more skillful / someone who has a lot more time to spend than the person who did the one in the article. I personally still don't like the overall pose or figure proportions though, but each to their own. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised when people start showing off their own versions, I have faith!

Well so far I like the look of everything.....except this.

Somebody mentioned it and I cant unsee it, looks like a 1990s Halfling or female dwarf sculpt. Wasnt Leia slim and waif? This model looks like its been doing the shot put for West Germany?

Hahaha! Very true. Maybe with sand paper on the cheek bones and the hands to bring it to a more natural proportion? Is there a way to smooth the plastic back to the original state or the like after sanding it?

I foresee a lot of people using IA leia, scale be damned.

Funnily enough though she's pretty inline with a lot of the wotc and SW:minatures poses (unless shes in slave gear) google spat out at me....

To be honest: It was me painting her fingers red.
Maybe I was more thinking of Carrie Fisher in her role as revenging angel in Blues Brothers ...
