You left off Contraband Cybernetics which is a big deal. You can k-turn and drop a 5-dice missile on someone. It's risky but the threat of it is substantial.

A good observation. For a free upgrade it's a very powerful card for a Vaksai with their flexible K-turns.

Been wanting to try this against my son one Saturday night. Opportunist is not highly competitive I know, but it's one of my favorite EPTs.

I came in 2nd at a small tournament with Swarm Leader Vader and 5 Tie Fighters. Didn't lose a game.

If you need a 12 point filler for scum, take Sunny Bounder, not a Z. The dial and barrel roll makes for a much better blocker.

You will also rarely get lucky with her ability.

Kihraxz - the threat is real.

With the new title they can even take BMST for free! Great vs the arc dodgers.

Emphasis on rarely. In about 15-20 games with 4 Starvipers and Sunny, her ability has actually worked exactly one time. Usually I get to add an eyeball result when I don't have a focus token or add a blank with no ability to reroll.

I've had it do something more often than that, but it rarely had an effect. I'll roll 3 Evade and get a 4th when I only needed 1 or 2. It is truly rare when it happens and matters, but always fun.

With Tractor Beam, it worked well shooting last. Most tokens gone and threw lots into rocks. Also away from objectives. Otherwise just shoot main guns.

two assault conf. each with jamming beam. One with flechette cannon, one with tractor beam.

Two arsenal conf. one with adv. homing missiles and flechette torpedoes, one with concussion missiles.

All with adv. SLAM.

Not the best, but something I will enjoy.

I like to be scoffed at, but I like this list

Cutlass Squadron Pilot [Unguided Rockets, Lightweight Frame] (25) x 4

but one guy at my shop runs a scurrg swarm and it is a pain for certain lists to deal with.

Karthakk Pirate (25) Scurrg H-6 Bomber (24), Greedo (1)

Karthakk Pirate (24) x 2

Karthakk Pirate (27) Scurrg H-6 Bomber (24), Bomblet Generator (3)

Half of your list to three amazing ships that all help each other out. If they stay back, they're amazing in the endgame.

I'd run this with some Gunboats, an Upsilon, or TAP/TIE Advanced.

Why not Imperial was first with the swarm and Rebel was so jealous they want a swarm too since it's the point of your topic ;)

That is nasty. If you know you are going to save those missiles for the CC-K trick, couldn't you swap Deadeye for Crack shot? You'd be in TL range by then. Should increase damage output even more.

Gonna try this with Vader and an Academy Pilot

Nobody suggested Spamgler Boats? For shame.

One of my favorite lists is basically Vader with snap blacks, or Vader and Howly with crack blacks. Haven't tried swarm vader though with 5 ties.

I'm assuming you've tried these variants too. Which one do you think is best? All seem equally fun!

P.S. too me, right now crack black mini swarm with vader seems best because you can split up to avoid harpoons and still have potency.

EDIT: i was thinking about fearlessness. But i don't know, deadeye is always a good thing because what if you are too distant from the targeted one? Also having a focus can be helpful if you roll 2 eyes on evades for example, in the first engagement

3 brutes and a Viper would probably do people well

If poons weren't a thing, I'd put xizor in there
