Who has written the longest post? Just curious. For me, if a post is too long. All I read is blah blah blah after the first couple sentences. Then I scroll down and read the next post to figure out what the first post is talking about. Am I the only one that does that?
Forums question
Too long; didn't read.
Anyone wanna help summarize?
Exactly.

I'd try, but your post didn't say **** about the one before it.

TL:DR
While normally I see that regarding entire threads where they blow up into multipage monsters in a single day I guess it could apply to a single post. I have no idea who has written the longest posts on this forum but I know I've been on some where there are massive WoT that are just quotes the post is responding to. If two people quote complete posts a few times it doesn't take long before they become all be unreadable. This was more of a thing back when I was posting on the WotC Forums.
Length doesn't matter to me as much as effective use of white-space. I'll happily read a wall of text from a poster who knows how to spell, punctuate, and format ... but I won't read three sentences from a poster who doesn't. (And the only reason I get three sentences is that my brain finishes reading before I can scroll or click past.)
I'm still waiting for a readable post in this thread.

Me am spaceship good?
If you open up all the spoilers, it's probably this one:
There might be a couple MagnusGrendel analysis posts that come close.
MajorJuggler, MagnusGrendel, and the best post on the forum ever* all show that the longest posts are also often the best.
