The funsiest T-70 list you ever did see!

By Dwing, in X-Wing Squad Lists

This will probably not win you any tournaments, but its seriously the most fun I ever had with X-wings. They fly like the old Imperial aces lists, but their lack of greens and PS makes them sub par. Flight assist astromech has kicked some serious life into Blue Ace.

interesting. My question is whether Snap's pilot ability takes effect first, or if FAA goes first. If FAA can go first, you could potentially barrel/boost, than take an action. I say that I would rather do VI on Snap so you can take the black one title. Than you can knock off TL's while doing all these free actions.

Both happen at the same time, in the "after your perform a manouver", so you choose.
but you look for the arc immedieatly before you do the barrel roll, not immedieatly after you do the manouver.
so if you choose to to snaps ability first, you check arc after the boost.

Our discussions in the rules forum lead us to interpret this as you can choose which you want to trigger first, and that FAA checks for arc when you want to trigger it, rather than after you finish your maneuver. So if you have arc, Snap boosts away and you no longer have arc, you'd then be able to FAA barrel roll.

*edit* maybe I'm remembering wrong. Check the rules forum for a fuller discussion.

I have just had to much fun with intensity on Snap. I like the low PS guessing game and as others has written ,he gets to barrelrol/ Boost, take an evade/focus with intensity and a focus/TL depebding on wwhat you used intensity on.

I don't really like Intensity there. The odds of having the extra tokens lying around to refresh it seems too low for the points.

All ships have double focus/evade or focus/evade/target lock... there's plenty of tokens for flipping it.

This list is in my case for the weekend ... I'll be using it in Hangar Bay with my 4 year old as it has x-wings in it and he loves x-wings.

Yup, plenty of tokens for flipping, they are really tanky. Let me know how it goes :)!

I played a similar x-wing the other day:

•Nien Nunb (38) - T-70 X-Wing
Daredevil (3), Flight-Assist Astromech (1), Pattern Analyzer (2), •Black One (1), Autothrusters (2)

Pattern analyser allows me to not take stress from a red maneuver until after the action phase, meaning I can use FAA and Daredevil to reposition before I take any stress :D

A bit expensive to fly with other x-wings, maybe, but loads of fun. (I threw him together to fly with 2x Auz w/ Intel Agent to try that card out.)

That said, I dont think I read FAA quite that way. I’ll have to look into that that.

For the definitive most fun you need BB-8 on Snap.

Nien's really fun with Stay on Target and Targeting Astromech as well. Potentially you can change a 3-straight move into a 3-talon with free target lock and you don't even get stressed if you land within range one. It's probably worth playing a game just in case you get this to happen once :D
