Ok, so FLEET AMBUSH SUCKS, right!?

I've known that since the first time @Truthiness put Yavaris Angry Bees in my face a couple of years ago, right after w2 hit.

But what if I take THIS fleet? Do you really want to eat this to the face? I dare you...

Oh, and I put AG on my Avenger, just to up the odds.

OK, so it's a lolz fleet, but I'm gonna try it out some day very soon. Vassal, you were warned.

I said what what.

There is a high degree of control over what your opponent puts in the ambush zone, what direction, speed, whether or not squads come in, etc. Basically the objective still allows your opponent to play mostly unhindered. Bail can change some of this, but mostly if your opponent doesn't want to get shot, he doesn't have to get shot.

I read trois and thought it was something like this for 399:

• ISD Cymoon 1: Vader, Avenger
• ISD Cymoon 1: XI7 Turbolasers
• ISD II: Overloadpulse

Not sure which objectives to use as I'm still trying to figure objectives out. I think Thrawn and 3 ISDs will be my go to list but Vader or Tarkin will be fun too.

Vader is good because without him there is no really effective way to get rerolls on all 3 ISDs, and isds without rerolls are tempermental on their damage.

In a game last week i rolled 4 accuaracies and 3 blanks on a mid range shot from a cymoon for 0 total damage.

Agreed- Cymoons cannot reach their full potential unless Vader is at the helm
