Tieren here, I’m the creator of the TTS mod for legion.
If I do a launch league for legion to celebrate the launch of legion, with maybe core boxes as the prize, who’ll be interested?
if there’s enough interest I’ll organize it!

Tried to get the TTS working via Steam but I didnt have a clue to start the actual 'game'.
your idea sounds goo though.
Let me see if I can can even run it first. I'm sure it sounds like a good idea though.

In the long run you can can spend more time playing, and deciding what units you actually want to buy.
Also I like the competitive side of the online sims (Vassal X-Wing in particular), everyone has access to all and as many expansions as they want. I think it's probably worth the asking price just for Legion, assuming it stays updated.
Ive played around a little with the TTS mod and aside from me not knowing the rules and such in depth, the mod seems absolutely fantastic! Quick and simple to get started and easy enough to manuever!
I cant promise ill be available and have the time to play but if I can manage it I would love to participate!

I was sceptical at first but it really is worth it, so much more intuitive then I could have imagined.
Ive played a little x-wing, destiny and legion in it and it all works fantastic! TTS itself is very easy to learn, different mods can require a bit of learning and figuring things out but nothing you wont manage in a few short hours.
Also, you can always refund and get your money back through steam but a word of advice; I dont think the two hours allowed playtime is enough to fully learn and experience TTS with whatever game(s) you wanna play. But the option is there at least.
I would be up for a league! I ran the mod and it works very nice great job @tieren thanks for your hard work!
Great job on the Mod. It looks amazing and highly functional. I need to learn the rules - but I'd be interested.

Table Top Simulator, then search steam I guess for the Star Wars Legion Mod, that parts free on steam, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1159576143
There is a few youtubes of people playing Legion on TTS. I struggled through it and taught myself the basics easily enough. There's a discord group https://discordapp.com/invite/UGP9N2v as well with a TTS channel.
Definitely want a little practice before the rules come out, and then we can go full scale properly!
Start by going through the tutorial in Tabletop itself, just to learn how to navigate the application. Then go through it a second time.
Then you can start fiddling around in the various mods, and look at some tutorials on youtube for specific mods! Its a breeze to be honest, and Legion has one of the best and easiest to use interfaces ive seen so far! Creating a list takes less then a minute!

I can only recommend it, you honestly get SO MUCH for the money that you can easily sink days into it!

Obviously it goes without saying that such a thing would only serve as an occasional proxy when you cant make it to your local gaming store and would only be used for products which one has already legitimately purchased as normal. It would absolutely *not* be a way to circumvent proper, well-deserved payment to FFG, et al for their many fine products. That would obviously be terrible and should never even be considered. Obviously. And if that was the intention, which this absolutely is *not*, or I’d have nothing to do with it- obviously- certainly no one would be silly enough to openly discuss such sordid deviousness against the fine people at FFG on the official FFG community forums.
