Release date of remaining Rebel expansions

By Ghost Dancer, in Star Wars: Legion

Reading the latest articles, they both say there will be 8 expansions released at the same time as the core set. Currently that's 5 Imperial ones and 3 Rebel ones. This implies that there won't be any other expansions at the time of release - has there been any talk of when the other two Rebel expansions will be released?

Our working theory is the the Article was a typo and the Expansions mentioned include the Dice and Rulers, makes the most sense. is all. Also Veers and Snowtroopers haven't shipped yet.

Dont the dice and extra range templates count as expansions by FFG? I can't imagine them releasing stuff in a way that gives either faction an edge...at least not this early in the games life.

Veers and the snow troopers will not be released at launch.

This seems to be what we're getting at release...

  • Core Set
    1. Dice Pack
    2. Rulers Pack
    3. Stormtroopers Pack
    4. Speeder Bikes Pack
    5. AT-ST Pack
    6. Rebel Troopers Pack
    7. AT-RT Pack
    8. Airspeeder Pack

Sometime AFTER that, we'll get...

  1. General Weiss
  2. Snowtroopers
  3. Leia Organa
  4. Rebel Naval Troopers

Did I misspell or something? Oh, wait, I did!

DERP... VEERS.

To be honest, it feels like the Imperial names don't really matter. With Vader on the field, it's actually safer to be a Stormtrooper than a General/Captain/Admiral.

As long as you don't see something Vader was trying to hide...

Imperial names dont matter? That there is serious heresy

I'm rebel scum, and even I respect and fear the name General Veers.

He is the most competent Imperial officer in the movies, after all.

I guess that's fair. Imperial GROUND commanders are pretty solid. They get the job done. Unless they're fighting Ewoks. Imperial NAVAL commanders seem pretty universally suspect.

Except Veers could have avoided the loss of at least of few of his AT-ATs by having them kneel. ;)

It's not exactly a stable design. He could have avoided the loss by having an entirely different vehicle. :)

But he'd made his career on walkers and blah blah blah. (which translates to walkers look cooler :P)

Pretty hard to find experienced commanders when Vader keeps killing them all off.

Or just stop walking.

Had a hectic week and only just remembered starting this thread! Thanks for the info everyone, it makes total sense that its 3 units per faction plus the dice and move tool.

if you look at the product numbers 1-8 include the dice and template.
