Yeah, play it out.
I concede to @Admiral Theia .
@Green Knight vs. Moodswing5537 is a 172 - 130 MoV 42 for a 6-5 to me.
I played first and we played his Opening salvo
This game. Lets just say mistakes were made and just move on. Neither one of us were playing at our best. Nothing to see here....
@Green Knight is an awesome player and I look forward to playing again with a.) fleets we both like and b.) at a time of day it favors us both.

We either forgot every upgrade - or didn't know how it really worked. Even Motti was not applied at start of game.
We should be ashamed - and we are...

After a good night's sleep I also recall: I forgot Screed every time, but did some VADER REROLLS with my Raider-2. Clearly I've played too much with Vader. He needs to go into the penalty box so I can find another commander

That's great, pay for Screed but use Vader's ability, I like it!
Dr Alex / Ghost still have a chance to mess up the standings a bit. A big win by either one and they can clear into the top 5!
Well, we came close. . .
Alex went first, and chose my Dangerous Territory. I hope I had DT. I had forgotten my objectives, so I gave myself the ones I was pretty sure I would have given myself. He got 3 tokens, I got 1, but I got incredibly lucky and pulled just the crit I needed to kill his ISD and grant me a 7-4 win, 257-192, MoV 65.
He used his Grav Shift to move 5 of the obstacles to him, and used his Lambdas to remove the tokens from them.
His ISD advanced along the center of the board, opposite my 75. The 30 moved around the left of the ISD, and the 80 moved around the right of the Interdictor, which itself was to the right of the ISD. In turn 4 he killed my 75, which had been sandwiched between the ISD and the Int. In turn 3 he had rammed the 75 though, so my 30 had time to get behind it. Due to Round 3's shooting (I had double-arced him at close range with the 75) he had little hull left and few shields. He also had no brace. My 30 double-arced his rear, and after the initial front arc volley had left him with 6 hull and 2 shields. My side arc rolled 5 damage. But I had APTs, and with Dodonna's help pulled Projector Misaligned, and knocked out his 2 shields, resulting in all 6 damage getting through for the kill. After that, I swung around to attack his Interdictor on turn 5, but unfortunately Targeting Scramblers left it alive on 2 hull. I did manage, however, to maneuver into double-arcing close range of his Raider, which had engaged the 80 on turn 2 and then swung along my edge of the table. On turn 6 he chose to save his Interdictor, and I killed his Raider.
In the squadron battle, Shara accounted for both Lambdas, but the Dictor in a parting shot snuffed out her triumphant soul.
Overall, it was a fun battle that came very close to being a large win for both of us. HIEs are awesome, especially with Screed. They really contribute a decent counter to tank builds, and that 3 damage really stacks up over time.

I think maybe JJ is already qualified for next year
I'm trying to see how many different ways I can qualify.

Here's the log .
did he hit the obstacles anyway to gain the tokens? The objective says "when you overlap an obstacle" , so moving the token off them shouldn't allow you to get the token without damage.

Yeah, he moved one onto the obstacle that the dictor had already visited, and it moved forward slowly enough to reoverlap the same obstacle and get it. The 3rs was obtained by the raider when it overlapped the station.

Who knew that all it took was threatening his children, and his children's children's children! Pretty easy, really.
