For that opening, usually they’ll slow roll turn 1, expecting the joust. The turn out is usually unexpected. Turn 2 they expect hard turns into center board control, so they’ll bank to face it, and your 1 bank is very odd. Turn 3 is very obviously a turn back into the table. They’ll either still be out of range, or possibly land a range 3 engagement with a ship or 2. Next turn you should be able to use your hard 2 and boost to be at Range 1 with boba fairly easily. The strength is that with a fearlessness boosting boba they expect early engagement.
