Repulsor Tank Assembly?

So I got the Return to Hoth expansion today! (Whoooo!) But while I was assembling everything I found some trouble with the Repulsor Tank pilot. I feel like I’m going to break his arms off trying to get him on to the pegs. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I did this with the AT-ST and Weiss and was concerned that if I softened up the pilot I might really mess him up.
