I keep saying this to people. Yes the AF2 is the only one outside the projected curve but on the small side of the curve. If you obeyed the sliding scale the AF2 would be LARGER than it is. The MC30c frigate is about 600m long while the AF2 is 700m long and the MC30c miniature is longer than the AF2. So don't complain, we could have gotten a gigantic ugly model.

Wow just saw this, amazing stuff. And it could be released as a stand alone awesome piece. Either make it exactly 350 points or make it a scenario piece only and cost whatever you want. I would prefer the former as then you could bring it in every game. And it would have to have different rules:

No movement and can shoot at any ship on the battlefield (no range) or just a straight Speed 1 only

15 Red Dice, on each hull. Two blacks and two blue anti-squadron dice.

All of the upgrade icons or maybe none of them since you couldn't afford any haha.

May also need to fudge the size quite a bit which I'm ok with for gameplay reasons. Even making it as small as 3-4 times the size of the Star Destroyer I would be ok with. Plus then it could potentially leave space for having the Death Star (takes up a 3x3 area, scenario only, gets to auto-kill a ship every even numbered round) haha.

Anyways if Star Trek did it with the Borg I have faith we could see truly gargantuan epic level pieces and it's what the game is missing.

Now that the official SSD expansion is confirmed, here is the better one that costs half as much.
