Tournament Structure:
There will be a 100 point squad building limit.

Best Practices
Check the Facebook Event for last minute changes, official rulings such as the genius \ trajectory simulator, and TLT \ Harpooned interactions.
Print out two copies of your list, with obstacles circled. We will have blank sheets on site if you can't print them at home. Ideally use YASB, Voidstate, or FAB for easier listing post event. You will turn in one list for verification, and keep the other list to display to your opponent.
If you have a regional BYE, please email us and let us know. You will need to turn in the physical card you were provided on the day of as well.
Registration begins at 9:00AM, first round starts promptly at 10AM. If you do not have your lists pre-written or printed please arrive no later than 9:30AM to ensure we start on time.
There are 74 players in this event. Please be courteous to your fellow pilots by arriving on time, well rested, showered, and ready to be a good sport despite your wins or losses.
Make sure you have all of your necessary tokens, cards, ships, pilot cardboard and stands ready to go prior to the start of each round. Double check that you bring them all to the event.

If you are not registered by the start of round 1, you will receive an automatic loss. If you have not registered by the end of round 1, you will be dropped from the tournament.
This is a six round tournament with a cut to the top 8. It is a long day of gaming. Stay hydrated, and well fed.
There are two judges (Mike and Marek) and one score keeper (Joshua) on hand for the event. All rule questions and disputes should immediately be brought to their attention, not a fellow player.
Turn in your scoresheet to the score keeper as soon as your round is complete to minimize downtime between rounds.

For those who have not been here before, Nu Brand Gaming is a not for profit FLGS dedicated to keeping tabletop gaming alive! We regularly host tabletop wargames, board games, card games and RPG's, with a focus on providing a comfortable and welcoming space for a diverse group of gamers. There is enough terrain available to cover all of their tables and then some. The tables were hand built and designed by the owner Ade Sanya, specifically for miniature wargaming. You can find fellow gamers every Wednesday - Saturday, check out their Facebook group for up to date info and say hello!
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment and/or violence of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, intimidation, offensive verbal comments, physical contact without consent, and disruption of events or club operations. Any violations of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the space and may result in notification of law enforcement.
We have some cafeteria style trays available for use to transport your squad from table to table. It is recommended to bring your own if you have one available.
Directions
Public Transit:
Take the D, N or R train to the 36th Street Station in Brooklyn and walk 5 short blocks north to 31st Street.
Train:
If coming to New York via Amtrak, exit Penn Station on the Seventh Avenue side and walk one block east to the Herald Square subway station, catching a Brooklyn-bound D, N, or R train to 36th Street Station.
Air:
A fast public transit link from JFK is available - take the Air Tran to Jamaica Station where you can catch the LIRR to Atlantic Terminal. Nu Brand Gaming is one stop away via the southbound D or N subways to 36th Street, Brooklyn. If arriving at Laguardia, I recommend taking a taxi or car service - fares typically run approx. $25 + tip and up. From Newark Liberty, NJ Transit provides a rail link to Penn Station. From there follow 'Train' instructions above.
Driving:
Free on street parking is generally accessible within a block or two of the venue along 5th avenue or side streets, and it is customary to double park in front of the venue for a brief time to unload terrain, fellow travelers and their gear. Please be courteous to the neighbors and be sure not to block any driveways when parking your vehicle.
Dining
Soda, Water, Red Bull, and various snacks are available for purchase at the venue. Seamless has many restaurants that will deliver, and we can recommend both casual and fine dining spots nearby! Also there will be a loosely organized bar crawl in the neighborhood post event for those who wish to attend.

Numerous hotels are located within walking distance of the venue, many with rates starting below $100.
