So you have an et trc90 pop out of the profundity?

And two exceedingly soft Raddus launch points?

It could work, but it could also go very very wrong.

It's missing the HH, shoot

dece list... I'm building some raddus list's right now and is anyone else wierded out a bit by putting raddus on corvettes? no biggie, but I keep coming back to corvettes as well when designing lists...

For me it's the Speed 5 that can still ping damage while staying out of harms way, then dart in behind on either (or both flanks) to let the big ship jump in. If it wouldn't cost me two ships I'd bring in an MC30, and change the Defensive objective to Hyperspace Assault (knowing **** well NO ONE (who wasn't just being silly), would pick it). But then I'd only be running two ships (or one even) until the Hyperspace kicked off, but the nesting dolls would be HELLA fun.

Might I suggest using a boarding upgrade on the Profuniditised HH

I would love to, but two things stop me. One is I'd lose my only re-roll mechanic, which, if I'm going to open with 7 or 8 black dice, I'm going to want those rerolls. Second is that the only decent option for an ordnance cruiser is the one that flips cards, and I just don't think I'll be that likely to be hitting targets that have many cards, or at least I don't want to distract myself with trying to specifically hunt the ships that have them.

Thematically? Yeah, a bit, but I'm a flexible lady. Really, ETRC90's are the best delivery platform while preserving some damage potential, I think. I could see a list with a couple of MC30's working too, but the activation count would be even smaller, and I think it would actually be even more vulnerable to a speedy tabling.

How safe can you ever really be with three puny activations and no squads? or more precisely 3 deployments

I'm not sure, and it is, of course, the biggest worry of the list. I think I have to play it ready to lose the two non flags, and in exchange get a great position and hit their fleet much harder in return. Plus, three TRC's can really hurt any medium or light carrier. My biggest worry will be fighter lists that use big ships for carriers, but they won't out-activate me (much) most of the time, especially not once the Raddus-Bomb goes off. I've been trying to think of ways to make it work. To shoe-horn in even a minimal screen though I will have to go down to two activations pre-raddus bomb, and I'm not so sure that's worth the trade-off. What do you think?

So can both ships pop out of Raddus the same turn?

I'd almost rather trim the fat on your Profundity and pad your activations with a flotilla

Yes they can. Both effects are "at the start of the round", and so after you jump in the Profun it is still "start of the round", and you kick out the HH.

I could reduce the EL to ACM, ditch the Hardened Bulkheads, and drop Garel's Honor for a naked transport, but my bid would drop to 4. Not bad in the often low-bid meta of my area and, seemingly, online, but I'd like a tiny bit more cushion to the bid, and I don't like the idea of stripping the 75 much :-/ It's a tough one.

Yeah, i just worry about getting your admiral to survive getting to position to open the Profundity surprise box

Yeah. I tend to be pretty confident in my ability to keep a 90 alive. I used to fly MSU 90 lists pretty exclusively, but I will need to be conservative with the admiral. Worst case, if the admiral gets cornered, I jump in the bomb off of him. If he dies after the ship is delivered then there's no big deal. But I hadn't thought of that last bit before, so thanks!
