With the talk about ion in this current meta, I wanted to try to build something using ion turrets. My first thought was to use tie aggressors. I don't fly much imps, so this just might be terrible.

Deadeye seems like a natural fit on both aggressors, giving Kestal a lot of flexibility with his focus. My initial goal was to fly this with the Silencer, but the points wouldn't allow for it. Vader can really fly in for a strong cruise missile strike on any ionized ship, especially when they cant drop a bomb on him.

VI or Intensity can be amazing on engine upgrade vader, reposition +2 Tokens, or 2 repositions +1 token, or just repositioning last is a much bigger asset in my opinion. Also, I think Tie /D Defenders will probable do better

looks solid, I'm not so sure abut unguided rockets as of now, you could also drop intensity to VI and cut unguideds for PTL on ryad

So I really dig Ion Turret Kestal. Super strong. But Deadeye isn't necessary on her. I would run her light: ICT, LWF, your choice of EPT. But I'd keep it cheap.

Double Edge is another strong choice, but I would capitalize on his ability by using the 1st attack exclusively to strip offense. Unguided Rockets is a good choice for that, followed up by an Ion Cannon Shot. Predator would be a very good EPT there, and again, I'd greatly advise LWF.

Then Vader. Good choice. Maybe Ion Pulse Missiles to round out the Ion theme? And VI for sure is A+
