Chat with Matt Holland from FFG

By maddwarfer, in Star Wars: Legion

Hey guys, here's a video from Beasts of War which includes a chat with FFG's Matt Holland about Star Wars Legion and Adepticon. He doesn't really reveal any new info, but does state that the Airspeeder and AT-ST will release after the core box, not with it as the articles said. Who knows what'll happen? WHO SHOULD WE BELIEVE???????????

The interview starts at 16:37 in the video.

Also interesting, he seems very careful with his words when he states that they are focusing on Galactic Civil War RIGHT NOW.

Well, it leaves it open to future expansions and settings. HE may not be able to say what other setting because it's part of some new project Disney is working on that FFG has been told some things about owing to making the games. IT could just be the normal careful workding of someone who works for a game company. Not really worth reading too much into, but I would have been surprised if this game stayed solely focused on GCW.

Not only that but to specifically say, there are a whole bunch of characters ....

I'm sure like most I'm not in any way surprised that many of our favorite heros will be showing up at some point.

What? Make large quantities of money by producing models the fans want? That way lies madness.

That's why I did two preorders: one for two core sets and one for one of each expansion.

Ewoks confirmed.

Yes. His answers very tactical.

So near the end he kind of eludes to when this was recorded when he said, "in a week, less than we see.."

This could be a reference to The Last Jedi or some other Star Wars release; Rebels spring premiere maybe?

This had to have come from just before Episode VIII released last month.
