And the weekened after the Richmond Regionals. I want to go, but I'd want to get a hotel, and I don't know if I can afford to back-to-back hotel bookings.
My brother lives in Portland and I can crash at his place. I'm in.

As a resident of Bellingham, both Vancouver and Seattle are only about an hour and a half away, and since I'm generally not good enough to make the cut, it's a simple day trip for me.
It's better to ask forgiveness than permission ?
