So I guess I need to put this up there along side all the usual errors I am used to finding in the X-Wing articles (it has actually become a game to see who can find the error first since there is at least one thing wrong in every article) but in the rotation announcement article the Rivals Draft set was included as part of the Legacies Cycle and would be legal in Standard format tournaments. Also the back of the Rivals box even says it is legal in Standard Play. But rivals is not included in the list of legal products in the holocron for either standard or trilogy. Where is the error?

Rivals doesn't have an official release date yet. That's probably all it is.

Oh yea, I forgot that was actually a pre-release / special holiday purchase day. Thanks for the reminder.

Believe the official release is Feb 1st, subject to change of course. Most likely they just left it out. Documentation isn't FFG's strong suit.

FFG has never given Rivals a release date let alone one of 2/1. Not sure where you are pulling this from.
